Sergiu

Sergiu Gherghina (principal investigator) is Associate Professor in Comparative Politics at the Department of Politics, University of Glasgow. He is Associate Researcher at the Department of International Relations and Contemporary History, Babes-Bolyai University Cluj. His research interests lie in party politics, legislative and voting behavior, democratization, and the use of direct democracy.

Clara Volintiru

Clara Volintiru (senior researcher) is an Associate Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Following her Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) she has been involved in various international research projects in the field of behavioral studies, good governance, informal exchanges, and political economy.

George Stefan

George Ștefan (research assistant) is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Economic Policies, Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). His research focuses on economic development at local level, foreign investment and competitiveness issues, effects of social and economic policies on social welfare.

Anca Agachi (research assistant) works as an Associate Director with the Atlantic Council’s Transatlantic Security Initiative, within the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. She is also a Security and Defense Fellow with YPFP. Her focus and expertise include transatlantic security, conflict management, stabilization, emerging threats, and she is learning every day something new about strategic foresight. Anca’s analysis has been featured in publications such as Defense One and Just Security, among others.
