Local Resilience (LOCRES): Piloting Local Resilience Metrics in Romania and the Republic of Moldova is a project that aims to provide a novel and comprehensive resilience measurement that identifies capabilities and vulnerabilities at local level.

It can become an important tool for fine-tuned evidence-based policy making, revealing clearly what are the socio-economic mechanisms at play in our communities and their challenges in times of crisis.

The Local Resilience methodology will be piloted on the case studies of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, with a potential for scaling-up at broader regional level in the future.

The project received funding from the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation between April 2021 and March 2022 under Grant no. BST- 21.079.RO44.1

This project was implemented in partnership with Aspen Institute Romania.
